William Gwen Glover
William Gwen Glover passed away March 6, 2017. He was 83
Mr. Glover was born March 25, 1933 in Pinckard, AL. He graduated from Slocomb High School. He was a peanut farmer for many years and retired after 39 years as a technical aircraft inspector for the aviation industry. During that time he worked at Dyn-Corp, Northrup, Hayes Aircraft and Sikorsky Aircraft. After his retirement he worked for PEMCO at the Dothan Airport.

Mr. Glover loved his family and his longtime church, Bethel Baptist, where he was a Deacon, his work and farming. He loved music and played a variety of instruments. The upright Bass and Steel Guitar was his primary instruments.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years. He was a 'people person' and never met a stranger.
