Annie Griffin Williams, a resident of Newton passed away June 24, 2020. She was 95
Funeral services will be in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel, 3:00 p.m. June 26. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:00 p.m. athe the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Newton City Cemetery.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Alexander and Leila Hudson Griffin - Husband; H.R. Williams - Daughter; Kaye Williams Johnson
Sisters; Jimmie Lee Mixon and her twin Leila Pearl Griffin - Brother; Alfred Griffin
Survived by: Daughter; Ann Delaney - Son; Larry (Karen) Williams of Newton - Six (6) Grandchildren and Nine (9) Great-Grandchildren

Charles Edward Wallace, a resident of Newton passed away June 16, 2020. He was 78.

Charles graduated from Newton High School in 1960. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he worked with various contractors at Fort Rucker for over 41 years until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Louie and Inez Blocker Wallace, and sister Barbara Wallace Harris.
He is survived by: wife; Metha Jean Gilley Wallace of Newton & daughter Sandy Wallace Sanders of Dothan,
Brothers David (Regina) Wallace of Newton, Mickey (Linda) Wallace of Dothan and Glenn Wallace of Hartford,
